Number Trail is a number path puzzle where you draw one line that connects the numbers in order and fills every cell of the grid. It looks simple, but each board has exactly one correct path, so every move is a small logic decision. How to play the number path puzzle
- Press Play Game, then Play level.
- Your trail starts on the number 1. Drag from it to draw a line through the grid.
- Pass through 2, 3, 4… in order. The game will not let you skip a number.
- Cover every cell exactly once and finish on the highest number.
- Thick dark lines are walls: your trail cannot cross them.
Made a wrong turn? Drag back along your line, or tap any cell on it to rewind to that point. When the last cell is filled, the trail lights up and the level is complete.

Unlimited levels
Number Trail has no level limit. The first boards are a small 5×5 grid to learn the rules, then the grid grows to 6×6, 7×7 and 8×8. From level 4, walls start to appear and change which routes are possible. Every puzzle is checked by a solver so it has exactly one solution. Your stars and best time for each level are saved on your device.
Daily puzzle and streaks
Every day there is a new 7×7 daily path puzzle with walls, the same board for every player. Solve it to tick off the day on your calendar and keep your 🔥 streak going. Share your time with friends and see who is fastest.
Tips to solve path puzzles faster
- Watch the corners. A corner cell has only two neighbours, so the trail must enter one way and leave the other.
- Hug the edges. Cells along the border are easy to cut off. Fill them while you still can reach them.
- Avoid dead ends. If a cell is left with only one free neighbour, it can only be the end of the trail.
- Use the walls. A wall often tells you exactly which way the trail must turn.
- Plan to the next number. Count how many cells sit between two numbers and make sure your route can use them all.
- Rewind freely. Dragging back costs nothing but a backtrack on your score. 💡 shows the next part of the answer.

About number path and one-line puzzles
Path puzzles ask you to find a route that visits every square of a grid exactly once. Mathematicians call such a route a Hamiltonian path. Solve the puzzle without using a hint. One hint gives two stars. Your best time for each level is saved too.
